WB-FM series are fretless basses, featured by an exceptionally clear, brilliant and fi rm sound, of an incredibly reduced weight.The instrument bodies are made of mahogany and have a wide tone camera which endow the bass the typical acoustic sound and a unique sustain.
The 3-way active electronic-system and the trimmers on the back of the instrument adds tone-flexibility suitable for each kind of music, from pop to jazz.
Necks are made up of 3-maple-layers and the fingerboard is made of rosewood (24 frets), they are assembled to the body through the traditional screwing system.
Steel machine heads (Black finish).Pitch and sound balance are perfect on each part of the fretboard, and are peculiarly remarkable on low B of the 5-string bass.Hand-rubbed oil finish.

Caratterizzati da un timbro sensazionalmente nitido, brillante, deciso e dal peso incredibilmente ridotto.I corpi, realizzati in mogano, presentano un’ampia camera tonale, che dona al basso il timbro tipico degli strumenti acustici ed un sustain unico.Il tutto, viene inviato al sistema di amplificazione, tramite il pickup piezoelettrico situato nel ponte.
L’elettronica attiva a 3 vie, ed i trimmer posti sul retro dello strumento, aggiungono poi la flessibilità tonale adeguata ad ogni genere musicale dal pop al jazz.I manici realizzati con 3 sezioni di acero e con tastiera in palissandro 24 tasti sono uniti al corpo con il tradizionale sistema ad avvitatura.
Le meccaniche sono in acciaio (finitura nera).Intonazione ed equilibrio di suono sono perfetti su tutta la tastiera, in particolare da notare il “Si basso” dei 5 corde. La finitura è realizzata a mano con lucidatura ad olio. Su ordinazione, disponibile anche nella versione a 6 corde (anche mancino). I tempi di consegna variano a seconda della disponibilità e dei tempi di produzione.

“Questo strumento nasce dall’esigenza di avere possibilità timbriche il più possibile vicine allo strumento acustico mescolate con le dinamiche e la cantabilità tipiche della voce umana. L’intento e quello di avere uno strumento che consenta la creazione di un suono personale, primo passo verso la produzione di una musica altrettanto personale. Il capotasto regolabile, il manico asimmetrico, le camere tonali, l’impiego di pick up sia magnetici che piezo, la qualità dei legni e l’accuratezza della costruzione. donano a questo strumento una suonabilità e una adattabilità ai differenti generi inattesa perfino a me che l’ho pensato. Facile da amplificare nonostante l’enorme estensione, maneggevole da usare, leggero da indossare, elegante nel design. Nato per soddisfare le mie esigenze musicali mi sta rapidamente portando al di la di esse spingendomi a suonare cose che non avevo mai suonato prima. Spero faccia lo stesso effetto anche a voi.”

“This bass borns with the idea of combining both the characteristics of acoustic instrument with the typical dynamics and timbre of human voice. By this way, we tried to develop a bass with a unique sound, first step to make personal music. The adjustable nut, the asymmetric shape of the neck, the tonal chambers, the combination of magnet and piezo pickups, the quality of the wood and the accuracy of the construction, give to this instrument an incredible playability and tone flexybility totally unexpected even to me! TWB-QP 43/53/63 series basses are featured by a decisely modern sound: warm, intense and at the same time brilliant and striking on sound attack.
Light and well balanced instruments, made of the best African woods: mahogany for the body and quilted maple for the top.

TWBZ-PD series basses sum up the best features of both TWB-QP e WB-FM series.
The result is an instrument characterised by a warm, deep tone, full of harmonics, striking in the attack and provided with a perfect sustain; everything is enriched by the acoustic remark given by the piezo pickup assembled on the bridge. A modern instrument thought for the most demanding musicians. The body is made of mahogany, the top of Padouk. The 3 way active electronic system and the trimmers assembled on the back of the bass, endow the instrument with a good tone flexibility.
The 3-maple-layer necks and the 24-fret rosewood fingerboard are assembled on the bass-body through the traditional screwing system.
Steel machine heads (gold finish). Pitch and sound balance are perfect on the whole fretboard, in particular for the low B of 5-string model. Hand-rubbed oil finish.

Ne risulta uno strumento dal timbro caldo, profondo, ricco di armoniche, deciso nell’attacco e con un ottimo sustain, il tutto arricchito dal sapore acustico offerto dal pickup piezoelettrico inserito nel ponte. Uno strumento moderno adatto ai musicisti più esigenti. I corpi sono realizzati in mogano, mentre il top è in Padouk.
